F-Secure Partners with Cisco Systems for a European Security Solution

F-Secure Corporation today announced at the RSA Security Conference in Munich, Germany that it will partner with Cisco Systems and iD2 Technologies to build a European VPN solution. This solution will provide customers of the three companies with a complete functional Smart Card-enabled VPN solution with centralized policy based management, including integration to PKI technology and Wide Area Network infrastructure.

The partnership is expected to strengthen F-Secure’s position as one of the leading European VPN vendors and lead into several new significant customer relationships during this fall. As the first implementation, F-Secure announced a Memorandum of Understanding of a Security as a Service™ partnership with Communication Valley, an Italian Security Service Provider.
