Create and send FSDIAG file
If you have technical problems with your security product, you can create and send an FSDIAG file to our technical support. The file contains information that can be used for troubleshooting and solving problems specific to your computer. Creating the file may take several minutes. The size of the file is usually less than 10 MB but, with corporate users, the file may be as large as 100 MB.
Note: You may need to log in as an administrator.
- Click Start.
- Select All Programs > (Your F-Secure product) > Support Tool. The Support Tool window is displayed.
- Click OK. The tool starts gathering information. It creates the output file on your desktop. The name of the archive file is fsdiag.tar.gz
- Attach the file to your support request.
