F-Secure today announced the addition of F-Secure ® Service Platform for Gateways to its service portfolio for global availability. The solution helps service partners to protect their services and customers’ infrastructures at the network level. The F-Secure ® Service Platform for Gateways includes a range of technologies combined with services designed for service partners including all relevant components for network based content security against viruses, malicious code and spam. The solution includes the advanced F-Secure Messaging Security Gateway and F-Secure Internet Gatekeeper technologies combined with additional components to complete the comprehensive needs of any service provider in the gateway, hosting and managed services segment.

For service partners, the solution allows for immediate time to market without the risk of large capital investment. Added to this, a flexible licensing model means that the service can be built alongside existing services and offered to the customer base without committing to a definite volume of users. F-Secure® Service Platform for Gateways supports several operational models applied by different types of service providers varying from email filtering for viruses and other malicious code for inbound and outbound traffic to managed or hosted services for both customer-dedicated or shared infrastructures.
