F-Secure launches Mobile Anti-Virus box product for Greek market

Oct 31, 2005: Deal with leading distributor Alpha Copy gives high visibility

F-Secure has announced the launch of its Mobile Anti-Virus product for the consumer market in Greece. Greek distributor, Alpha Copy will partner with F-Secure to provide distribution and support services for the F-Secure Mobile Anti-Virus box product. Alpha Copy is a successful Greek distributor for mobile products and therefore already strongly integrated with the mobile ecosystem in that country.

Both companies are interested in addressing the market with this value-added software component to protect mobile devices against viruses, trojans and worms. To date F-Secure has received reports of mobile viruses found in more than 30 countries, including Greece while the total number of listed mobile viruses now approaches 100.
