F-Secure opens branch office in Poland

Jun 09, 2005: Michał Iwan Appointed F-Secure Poland’s Partner and Distribution Channel Manager

Warsaw, June 9th, 2005 – F-Secure, the world’s fastest growing publicly listed company in the antivirus and intrusion prevention industry, announced today the opening of its branch office in Poland and the appointment of Michał Iwan as its Distribution and Partner Channel Manager. Iwan will be responsible for promoting F-Secure products and increasing the company’s share in the Polish market, as well as for supporting and developing the partner channel.

Michał Iwan, F-Secure Poland’s Partner and Distribution Channel Manager, has long-term experience in selling antivirus software. Between 2000 and 2004, he held the position of Product Manager for storage at Veracomp S.A., where he was responsible for managing such brands as Computer Associates, F-Secure and Tandberg Data. His achievements include establishing F-Secure’s reseller channel in Poland and gaining a major market share for the brands he was managing. Michał Iwan graduated from the Krakow University of Economics.
