BCS deploys subscription-based security for enterprises in Estonia in cooperation with F-Secure


Jun 29, 2006: Tallinn City Education Department signs up for three years of security services.

In co-operation with long term partner Baltic Computer Systems (BCS) F-Secure today announced that it has successfully started to roll out its Service Platform for Enterprises in Estonia with Tallinn City Education Department.

The Department with 5000 desktops has adopted the service which includes not only desktop protection, but also comprehensive protection for servers and gateway products for a three-year period.

The service-centric solution enables enterprises such as Tallinn City Education Department to use the full range of F-Secure solutions without the need for initial license investments as all solutions are provided as a service by BCS.

Customers will benefit from enhanced flexibility and the high-end security expertise provided by BCS, powered by F-Secure technologies. The service is delivered using F-Secure Service Platform for Enterprises and it consists of a wide range of anti-virus and intrusion prevention technologies.

This solution ensures that service providers, such as BCS, can offer their customers a highly comprehensive security service with up-to-date protection and automatic virus updates working transparently in the background for their desktops, remote users, servers and gateway traffic.
