Two vulnerabilities were reported found in Microsoft Word, each of which could lead to remote code execution. 

Detailed Description

Microsoft has released a security update for Microsoft Word to resolve two reported vulnerabilities that could each be exploited into allowing an attacker to execute code on an affected system. The vulnerabilities were both caused by improper handling of objects in memory when parsing Office files.

These issues have been resolved through the update by correcting the way that Microsoft Word parses files. Users are recommended to install the update as a protection measure against potential exploit attempts.
