A cumulative security update for Internet Explorer has been released to address nine reported vulnerabilities.
Microsoft has released a cumulative security update to address nine reported vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer (IE), each of which could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on an affected system. The vulnerabilities were caused by memory corruption condition, which resulted from IE trying to access a deleted object in memory.
The security update fixed these issues by modifying the way that IE handles objects in memory. Users are recommended to install the latest update onto their system as a protection measure against possible exploit attempts.
