Detailed Description
Microsoft has issued a security update to address a vulnerability in Windows Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) Automation. The vulnerability was caused by the way that OLE parses a specially crafted file, and can be exploited by an attacker to be able to execute code on an affected system.
The latest update has resolved this issue by correcting the way that OLE Automation parses files. Users are recommended to install the update onto their system as a protection measure.
