Adobe has released Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.271 to address a vulnerability found in the prior version of the product. The vulnerability, identified as CVE-2012-1535, could cause the application to crash, and possibly allow an attacker to take control of an affected system.
There are reports about the vulnerability being exploited in the wild, where the exploit targets ActiveX version of Flash Player for Internet Explorer on Windows. As a protection measure, users are recommended to update to version 11.3.300.271 to protect their system from potential exploit.
