Safe Check

Is Your Computer Protected?

F-Secure Safe Check is a free application that tells you if your computer is protected and helps you fix possible security issues.

This is an online web application that is not installed on your computer.

In a few minutes, you can find out:

  • Is your firewall, antivirus, and anti-spyware software on and up to date?
  • Are your photographs, text documents, and other irreplaceable files automatically backed up?
  • Are there security updates available for the most widely used programs on your computer (such as the operating system, web browsers and media players)?

On the summary page, we give you a report on the health of your computer, as well as recommendations for improving its protection.
