Easy Clean beta release
Removing malware has never been this simple
An updated beta version of Easy Clean 3.1 has been released.
This latest version is for trial use and includes real-time, cloud-based detection database and network reputation lookup capability, which requires a live Internet connection while the product is in use.
Note: the Easy Clean beta program uses pre-production databases and components that users may elect to try before their official release. For the official Easy Clean release, go here.
This beta release should not be used in production computers. We strongly recommend using this for testing purposes only.
What's New?
- New Timeline feature - provides valuable information to the user in case their system is infected with malware that potentially puts their online identity at risk
- New DeepClean technology - enables Easy Clean to remove tricky malware such as bootkits and rootkits
- Improvements to 'look and feel' - includes support for multiple languages (Finnish, Swedish, German, French, etc)

System Requirements
Minimum hardware requirements
for the Easy Clean 3.1 beta release:
- Live Internet connection
- Processor: Capable of running Windows XP
- Memory: 512 MB (1 GB recommended)
- Internet Explorer 7 and newer
Supported operating systems:
- Windows XP SP3
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit)
- Windows 8 (32 and 64 bit)
Known Issues
The beta release of Easy Clean 3.1 has
the following known issues:
- On Windows XP, the program must be run on an Administrator account in order to scan system memory and files.
- On IE 7 and 8, the program will not run when Internet and Local Intranet security levels are set to High
- On IE 7 and 8, Easy Clean will not work if the browser is in 'offline' mode
- Easy Clean's DeepClean component will not install on encrypted drives
- Easy Clean's DeepClean component will not install on Windows 8 systems with SecureBoot enabled
- Easy Clean doesn't report infections found during file scanning on AV-protected systems
- No Timeline is available on Windows 8
