Christian Fredrikson | |
 | President and CEO Christian Fredrikson started as President and CEO of F-Secure Corporation on January 16th in 2012. Mr. Fredrikson joins F-Secure from Nokia Siemens Networks, where he was responsible for global sales of the Network Systems business unit. He has also been Head of the Asia Pacific Region and Head of OBS Business Unit (Operation and Business Software). Mr. Fredrikson joined Nokia in 1994 where he held several executive positions in various locations, including R&D and sales. Christian Fredrikson holds a master's degree in engineering from Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland. |
Pirkka Palomäki | |
 | CTO Pirkka Palomäki is the Chief Technology Officer of F-Secure Corporation and has been a member of the Executive Team since 2001. He joined F-Secure in 1997 and has previously held positions in product management and marketing. Prior to joining F-Secure, Mr. Palomäki worked for Telecom Finland (currently TeliaSonera) in the field of marketing, business development and development management for data communication services. He holds a Master of Science degree in International Marketing and Business Strategy from the Helsinki University of Technology. |
Ari Alakiuttu | |
 | VP, Human Resources Ari Alakiuttu is the Vice President, Human Resources of F-Secure Corporation and has been a member of the Executive Team since 2007. Prior to that he served as Vice President, Products & Services and held positions in Product Management, Product Marketing and Channel Development. Prior to joining F-Secure in 2000, Mr. Alakiuttu worked for Tellabs and for Nokia in the field of product management and product development for telecommunications network management. He holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Oulu. |
Taneli Virtanen | |
 | CFO Taneli Virtanen is the Chief Financial Officer of F Secure and has been a member of the Executive Team since 2002. Prior to joining F Secure in 1999, Mr. Virtanen worked for Santasalo-JOT Group as Group Controller. He holds a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Helsinki School of Economics. |
Tuomas Hyyryläinen | |
 | VP, Strategy and M&A Tuomas Hyyryläinen is Vice President of Strategy and M&A at F-Secure Corporation and has been a member of the Executive Team since 2010. Prior to joining F-Secure, he headed strategy for Nokia Devices at Nokia Corporation. In his earlier career, Mr Hyyryläinen worked for Nokia Mobile Phones as Head of Strategy Development and has held various strategy and business development related positions at Nokia Technology Platforms and VDSL Systems, a Finnish technology start-up company. Tuomas Hyyryläinen holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from the Helsinki School of Economics. |
Kari Penttilä | |
 | VP, Research and Development Kari Penttilä is the Vice President of Research and Development of F-Secure Corporation and has been a member of the Executive Team since 2010. Before joining F-Secure he worked for FreeDropInnovations Oy as Development Director, responsible for concept, user experience, design of consumer targeted mobile terminal, mobile application and related web services for golfers. Earlier in his career he has been working in business, technology and product development management positions in Internet and telecom business areas for Iobox, Oplayo, Tecnomen and Blyk. |
Samu Konttinen | |
 | Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing Samu Konttinen is the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing of F-Secure Corporation. Prior to that he served as Vice President of Sales and Geographical Operations and Vice President of Mobile Business Unit. Samu Konttinen has been a member of the Executive Team since 2009. He joined the company in 2005 and in his earlier career he worked in sales and channel management, including Director of Regional Operations, covering F-Secure operations in +20 countries in EMEA. Before joining F-Secure he held a Vice President position at Valimo Wireless Ltd 2001-2005. Samu Konttinen is also a member of the board of Ixonos Plc. He has studied Business Administration at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. |
Patrik Sallner | |
 | VP, Professional Services Patrik Sallner is Vice President of Professional Services. Prior to that he served as Vice President of Mobile Business Unit and Vice President of Storage and Digital Content business of F-Secure. He joined F-Secure in 2010 and is a member of the Executive Team. Before joining F-Secure he built up and led the Hosting Line of Business in Nokia Siemens Networks. Patrik has a long background with Nokia where he held various management positions in mobile phone product development, strategy and innovation, including running a cross-functional Corporate Strategy unit called Insight & Foresight. He also spent four years in management consulting with McKinsey & Company in France and Finland. Patrik has a Master of Science degree in Technology Management from Helsinki University of Technology as well as an MBA from the Wharton School and a Master of Arts degree in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. |
Maria Nordgren | |
 | Vice President, Channel Business Maria Nordgren is the Vice President, Channel Business of F-Secure Corporation. Prior to that she served as Vice President, Corporate Business and has been a member of the Executive Team since 2010. Maria joined F-Secure international Sales unit in 2005. In her earlier career she held management positions in Finnish software companies such as DeskArtes which she co-founded and later headed. Maria Nordgren holds a Master of Science degree from the Helsinki University. |
