F-Secure® Anti-Virus™ for Workstations 8.00

You can download the latest product versions from this page if you have a valid support and maintenance agreement with F-Secure as well as the required product key code.

Key Features

New in this release:

  • Improved real-time scanning performance on removable drives
    Enhanced scanning logic to enable faster scanning of large files that reside on removable drives.
  • The scanning report has been updated to explain in more detail why certain files have been skipped.
  • Spyware removal is significantly faster with this release.
  • Reduced memory consumption and improved overall performance
  • Updated identification and removal of conflicting programs (sidegrade)
    Sidegrade has been updated to include the more common conflicting products, and it no longer makes unnecessary removals that cause conflict with our software.
  • New manual database installation tool fsdb update, installs all the latest database updates for customers with a valid subscription.
  • Remote Application List for System Control
    The administrator can configure System Control to deny or allow applications remotely with Policy Manager.
  • A notification flyer for scheduled scans gives the user the possibility to abort the scan and to view the scanning report
  • Includes all hotfix packages since F-Secure Anti-Virus for Workstations 7.10 release For more information, please see the Release Notes below.
